Educational Requirements for Pilot Licenses

In India the educational qualifications for various pilot licenses are as follows:

Student Pilot License (SPL): Minimum qualification is 10th standard from a recognized board. Physics and Mathematics are not mandatory at this stage.

For instance Delta Air Lines considers a four year college degree highly preferred but not a strict requirement for first officer candidates.

Similarly United Airlines lists a bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university as preferred for first officer candidates.
