The eligibility to fill the registration form of Pilot CET (Common Entrance Test) is mainly based on age education and health. A candidate must be at least 17 years old at the time of admission and should have completed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Students awaiting results can also apply provided they show proof before admission. Both male and female candidates from India and abroad are eligible making the exam open to a wide group of aspirants.
Along with academic requirements a candidate must also be medically fit as per DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation) guidelines. Good eyesight, proper hearing and overall physical fitness are essential to pursue pilot training. The minimum percentage in 10+2 may vary depending on the institute but usually ranges from 50–60%. Thus the CET ensures that only candidates with the right academic background age and health conditions can register and move ahead in pilot training.
