The Pilot Entrance Exam formally known as Pilot CET (Pilot Common Entrance Test) is a national level scholarship based exam designed to facilitate entry into DGCA approved pilot training institutions across India. It streamlines admission into programs such as Commercial Pilot License (CPL) Private Pilot License (PPL) and their helicopter counterparts all while offering substantial financial support based on merit.

Exam Format and Syllabus: It’s an online test, where each section dedicates a set number of questions and marks:

Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must be between 17 and 35 years of age at admission time. Education wise passing Class 10 with recognized certification qualifies for PPL for CPL candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) or an equivalent diploma. Students still awaiting Class 12 results may also apply in practice mode.
Scholarships: Based on the candidate’s All India Rank (AIR) substantial merit-based scholarships up to 100% are awarded, making pilot training more accessible.
