To start your journey toward becoming a pilot you must complete 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics. Students from any recognized board (CBSE ICSE or State Board) are eligible. If you didn't have these subjects you can clear them later through NIOS.

      Apply for Student Pilot License (SPL)

Before joining any flying academy you'll need an SPL (Student Pilot License). This involves a medical test and an oral exam conducted by DGCA approved flight instructors.

        Enroll in a DGCA Approved Flying School

The next step in how can I become a commercial pilot is joining a DGCA approved flying school in India. You'll complete 200 hours of flying training that includes solo and cross country flights. Training takes around 18-24 months.

         Pass DGCA Exams
