The PPL A Licence formally known as a Private Pilot Licence (Aeroplane) is an important and exciting first step in your aviation journey. With this licence you are authorised to fly an aeroplane for personal and recreational purposes not for commercial operations.

Complete ground theory modules (Air Regulations Meteorology Navigation Technical General & Specific Radio Telephony) and practical flying hours: typically 40 hours (20 dual 10 solo 5 solo cross country 5 instrument).
The course usually takes about 6-12 months depending on flying frequency and scheduling.
In India the typical fee range starts from around INR 10-15 lakhs (may vary by flying school and conditions).
