Getting your CPL aviation licence in India happens only after you complete all DGCA approved requirements and submit your documents for final verification. A Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) is not issued immediately after training it follows a step by step process that ensures you are fully trained medically fit and eligible to fly aircraft professionally.
To receive your actual CPL aviation licence you must complete 200 hours of flying in a DGCA approved flying school in India or abroad. These hours include solo flights cross country flying night flying instrument flying and other required categories.

On average students receive the actual CPL aviation licence within 18-24 months after starting training. Training cost usually ranges between INR35,00,000 to INR55,00,000, depending on the flying school and aircraft type.
